This is my new favorite analogy but that might just be the gynecologist in me. Just remember everyone you get together with, and per CDC guidelines close contact is >10 minutes less than 6 feet without a mask, could be a pre-symptomatic or asymptomatic carrier of COVID-19. A mask is like a condom in that in can help but not completely prevent some STDS (like HPV and Herpes) so very important to wear one and wear it correctly. Especially with OC cases spiking there is a good chance we are going to see more and more people we know with the virus.
I don't have much more to say, other than if you are not upset by the absolute lack of leadership and consistent policy from the president to the OC Board of Supervisors you should be. Instead of a consistent policy to open things in a safe way and unite everyone we are now even more divided. I feel for everyone who is having anxiety, these are strange days and I hope we come together to conquer this challenge.
In hospital updates, one small thing. Partners or support person of laboring or postpartum patients are being asked to wear masks when any other employees or staff enter the room.
